Meave started cooking at her mother’s bakery in Santa Monica when she was 10 years old and hasn’t stopped since. She has worked as a head chef to several restaurants throughout California (i.e. head chef Saltwater, Inverness, executive pastry chef Gjelina, Venice) and on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Creating partnerships with and supporting the vibrant community of local farmers, ranchers and fishermen has always been the focal point of her restaurants and menu crafting. She just moved to Ojai, CA to open a restaurant with her sister and partner Rory McAuliffe.
